What William Shakespeare Really Looked Like

Dr. Caroline Wilkinson of Dundee University used this death mask to create a rendering of the Bard. She used 3D imaging to map out the features of his face and created this. Many would agree that it looks a lot like some of the interpretations of Shakespeare, although the entire head cannot be seen here. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616 at the age of 52.
