Focusing On David
Rose, on the other hand, decided to let go of everything and concentrate solely on herself and David. At this point, he really needed to find some sort of resolution. In addition, it would be his first and final encounter with his mother. David was still too young to comprehend what was happening, so Rose made a heroic effort to hold back her tears for him. She eagerly anticipated seeing how her nephew would respond.

David was quite upset. He couldn’t understand why everyone was so furious. Rose returned his comforting smile as he turned to her for solace. The last visitors to the funeral home where David’s mother was laid to rest were Rose and David. He glanced down and stared at her with eyes of compassion. He asks Rose if her mother sleeps.
