The Birth Of Jam Sessions
The festival is credited with being the genesis of the American drum circle, which is a gathering of people who play music together. This is sometimes referred to as a “jam session,” in which the music being performed inspires everyone to create their own music using any instruments they have available. There were both acquaintances and strangers among the attendees. It was simple to collaborate and have fun while making beautiful music!
Setting Up The Sound System
Bill Hanley was the sound engineer at Woodstock. He described the event as a huge success. He designed his own speaker columns and installed arrays atop tall buildings. It was planned in this manner in order to amuse 150,000 people. As we all know, the gathering was far larger than anyone had expected. Regardless, the sound system was flawless.
