What Nefertiti Really Looked Like

In 2018, Expedition Unknown used 3D imaging technology to map out the face of “The Younger Lady,” who was believed to be Nefertiti even though there is room for speculation. After they scanned the mummy, it took paleoartist Elisabeth Daynes 500 hours to recreate the face based on historical images of Nefertiti. The project seems to confirm that the mummy was Nefertiti, although it started a controversy about the color of her skin.
