Sir Chris Hoy
Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy is a very talented racing driver who represented Britain in all the competitions he participated in. But before engaging in such a sport, he used to play track cycling and dominate in several competitions such as the Olympic Games. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, he managed to snatch a medal from the Men’s Team Sprint event. He won another medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics, specifically from the Men’s 1000 Meters Time Trial. In the 2008 Summer Olympics, he won three medals. He was able to bag two medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics, which was the last Olympic Games he participated in – making him a cyclist who has a total of seven Olympic medals entitled to his name.
Sir Steve Redgrave
Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave is a former professional rower. He has a total of five gold medals coming from all the Olympic Games he competed in. In the 1984 Summer Olympics, he managed to win his first gold medal from the Men’s Coxed Four event. He won his second gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics that was held in South Korea. In the 1992 Summer Olympics, he dominated once again and was able to bring a gold medal home. He won another gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics and got his last gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Now at 58 years of age, he is spending a happy and peaceful life with his wife, Ann Redgrave.
