Cathy Freeman
Catherine Astrid Salome Freeman, who is more commonly known as Cathy Freeman, is a former sprinter who used to represent Australia in all of the competitions she participated in. In her entire career, she managed to win a total of two Olympic medals. She won her very first Olympic medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics, specifically from the Women’s 400 Meters event. In the 2000 Summer Olympics, she dominated in the same category and brought another medal home. Three years after that, she announced that she would not be joining competitions anymore. After her retirement, she established the Indigenous Education Foundation, which aims to help the children who are in need. Now, she is spending most of her time managing the foundation as she also focuses on being a great wife to her husband, James Murch, and an amazing mother to their child, Ruby Anne Susie Murch.
Shaun White
You might know him by his nicknames – “The Flying Tomato,” “The Egg,” “Future Boy,” or “The Animal.” Shaun Roger White is a retired professional snowboarder. Before he retired, he managed to win tons of gold medals from different competitions, and three of them came from the Olympic Games. He won his first gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics that was held in Turin, Italy. In the 2010 Winter Olympics, he managed to bag another gold medal. Shaun won his last Olympic medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics when he finished the Men’s Halfpipe event as a gold medalist. After retiring, he established a career in the music industry. He also starred in various films such as The Crash Reel, The Smurfs 2, and First Descent.
