Lola Falana

Lola Falana is a true talent as she can sing, dance, and act. This New Jersey-born and Philadelphia-raised American actress found fame in Italy with the help of Dinah Washington and Sammy Davis, Jr. She became a huge figure in Italian cinema and her American onscreen debut only came with the 1970 film The Liberation of L.B. Jones. She started working as a dancer in Vegas after this and earned the moniker “Queen of Las Vegas.” Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 1987, and she has not starred in projects since 1989. She did, however, go up on stage in 1997 for a local production in Branson, Missouri. She now spends her time in her apostolate and with the Save Sub-Saharan Orphans organization that helps children in Africa.
