Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman was already aware that acting was her passion when she was a middle school student. However, she actually started out as a model, and this was how casting directors discovered her. In 1988, she starred in three movies, including the drama film Dangerous Liaisons. It goes without saying that her big break came with the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction. She also played the lead role in his Kill Bill duology. Among her recent works are the movies Down a Dark Hall and War with Grandpa.

Christie Brinkley is probably best known for her modeling work in the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated. She made a name for herself when she posed for three covers of the special edition during the late 70’s. She also worked as a model for the cosmetics brand CoverGirl among other marketing campaigns. She was recently on the cover of Sports Illustrated yet again, this time with her two daughters. Oh and let’s not forget she portrayed Jerry’s wife in the sitcom Parks and Recreation.
