Jacqueline Bisset appeared in the 1968 noir film The Detective opposite Frank Sinatra. Many fans claim that this was the part that skyrocketed her to fame. By the end of the decade, the actress starred in 17 movies altogether. It definitely was not the last time she appeared on the big screen, however! We doubt that you have forgotten the actress who played Mary Ann Summers in the sitcom Gilligan’s Island! Dawn Wells has since reprised the same role multiple times. She also continued to act and she once went on tour with a musical theater group. In 2014, she came out with a memoir titled What Would Mary Ann Do? A Guide to Life. In 2016, the actress became the MeTV network marketing ambassador as well.
