The country music legend came out with the hit songs “Jolene,” “Love is Like a Butterfly,” and “I Will Always Love You” during the decade. She has since found a great deal of success. Until 1977, she even had her own variety show called Dolly! In 2016, she held her biggest American tour and performed in 60 cities across the country. She also released a “Jolene” remake with the popular acapella group Pentatonix. Here’s one last tidbit about her: she is the godmother of Miley Cyrus!

The model made it fine to show off your imperfections, even if you are a famous model! She also set a record when she appeared on the cover of Vogue a grand total of 27 times. She also dipped her toes into acting, and you can find her in The Gambler and The Joneses. She was recently a part of the cast of Amy Schumer’s comedy movie I Feel Pretty.
