Chopped
This Food Network show is a big hit with viewers! During a cook-off, chefs will have to compete against one another. It is explained to them that they will be given a set of ingredients to use in order to prepare supper dishes for the judges. They are removed one by one until there is only one remaining. While the timed challenges are legitimate, the show itself is not quite as authentic as it appears to be on the surface level. Initially, the producers would purposefully shortchange common items on the show in order to generate tension among the contestants, but this practice was discontinued. Despite the fact that they no longer do so, they continue to make sloppy mistakes. Chefs are given a large amount of time to rummage through the pantry and come up with ideas for foods that they may prepare for their customers. Neither the best nor the worst dish is always crowned champion, nor is the worst dish ever removed from the competition. Occasionally, they award the victory to the individual who tells the most compelling story.
Geordie Shore
This is also referred to as the “Jersey Shore” of the United Kingdom, and it is just as false as the American version. In fact, it may even be better than the original! When MTV aired a new trailer for a new episode, the network made a mistake. It was close to Marnie’s 26th birthday at the time. Unfortunately, the network aired the teaser on the day of the birthday, which makes it evident that the film was shot earlier in the year. Fans on social media were similarly perplexed by what was going on. “It’s because [sic] it’s fake and scripted,” Marnie answered in a Twitter thread. She, on the other hand, deleted it right away.
