House Hunters
This is one of the most popular television shows on the home improvement channel HGTV. It’s disappointing to learn that it’s simply another phony television show. Even before they appear in front of the cameras, the contestants have already decided on the house that they will purchase! There are other instances in which they have already purchased the home. What makes things even worse is the fact that the show occasionally casts young actors in the role of homeowners, further aggravating the situation.
What Not To Wear
We like the premise of this show, but it isn’t as entertaining as you may expect it to be. The competitors on the show will each receive $5,000 to use in a thorough makeover and wardrobe overhaul. However, it turns out that it has a number of disadvantages as well. The makers donate their original clothing to a charitable organization instead of throwing it away! In addition, the participants are responsible for paying tax on the things that they purchase. On top of all of that, the outfits are custom-made to ensure that they are a perfect fit. They will, however, be responsible for the expense of the modification.
