Something Was Wrong
She called her husband so that he could feel it for himself. That was just a random bit of metal or portion of a fixture, he does seem to think. Laural wasn’t reassured, however. She actually pulled on it for the first time, but nothing took place. She and her husband went to sleep, surrendering that it might just be an abnormality. But she had a weird feeling, as Laural lay there, that she just can not shake.

Why would a piece of furniture have a flaw? She knew that the Amish took pride in their handwork. There must have been more than just that. She decided to further uncover, still unable to rest. She depressed the region and then heard a faint click. A concealed compartment! Unexpectedly, she remembered how fast the guy had been selling furniture to them. Did he have any knowledge of this secret cache?
