And what a steal! Laural pondered nervously. But she just can not help but wonder on her way home why the vendor had negotiated to a very cheap price. It was as though he was just trying to get rid of the furniture. Had she made a big mistake just then? Well, what’s been done has been done. But they were in for a nasty surprise when they relocated the new set into their bedroom.

“Oh, they’re not really fitting!” When her husband decided to install the bedroom set in their room, Laural sighed. Way too big was the dresser for the space behind the door. But she was going to make it work somehow. It was a lovely piece of furniture after all. Laural sat down on the edge of the bed and more thoroughly scrutinized their good purchases. She did run her hand down the wood grain… and then almost overlooked a tiny chunk of metal jutting out from under one of the drawers.
