Woodstock took place regardless of the weather. It rained because it rained! The event was held rain or shine. Even as the heavens opened up and the storm arrived, people partied! There was some major drinking going on there. Look at how happy these people are. They don’t appear to have been impacted by the torrential rain. And it appeared to be pouring…

Waiting in lines may be tedious and tedious. While you wait, why not catch a few winks on your pal’s car? Sleeping atop the hood of a car was the next best thing for those who didn’t bring tents. We have to admit that it wasn’t really comfy, but it was much preferable to sleeping on the ground. At the very least, you’d only get wet from rain and not dirty from muddy water.
