Ronald Wanek

Ronald Wanek amassed his $2.4 billion fortune through the sale of furniture. He started the Arcadia Furniture Manufacturing Company in 1970, which merged with Ashley Furniture in 1976. The company, which still bears the latter name, has earned him $2.4 billion and is currently run by his millionaire son Todd. Wanek and his wife Joyce have long been Republican donors, and they contributed $170,000 to the president’s reelection campaign in 2020, despite not individually donating to Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Charles Simonyi

Although Charles Simonyi’s name is not as well-known as Bill Gates’ or Steve Balmer’s, his work on Microsoft—including the design of Word and Excel—has contributed just as significantly to the company’s success as anybody else’s. He is worth more than $4.1 billion as a result of his work with Microsoft and his own company, Intentional Software, although he may lack press coverage. Charles and Lisa Simonyi contributed $52,700 to Trump’s 2016 campaign; in 2020, they will give him $200,000 instead.
