Originally, this couple comes from different parts of the world. Aaron was born and raised in Honduras where his parents were evangelical missionaries. Rachel, on the other hand, grew up in Mississippi Delta. Throughout her life, she was exposed to experiences full of racial diversity. Aaron considers himself to have had a similar experience since he was the only blond-haired, blue-eyed person in his hometown. From a young age, Rachel started going on missionary trips. This later led her to the decision to want more responsibility and adventures.
