Time For Breakfast
The patrol proceeded as Eddy had intended. As the hour hand approached eleven, he knew he would eat breakfast as he had originally intended because by ten he had cleared out the majority of the congregation. Eddy drove as quickly as the law would permit to his favorite diner. He gave the proprietor a warm hug and settled at a booth close to a window. But when he was looking through the menu, he noticed something.
A Bit Odd
Even though it was getting close to noon, the diner was nearly empty. Given that this was one of the most well-liked restaurants in the area, Eddy thought this particular feature was a little unusual. His gaze settled in a nook of the café where a woman and a boy were having breakfast. A gang of bikers was seated next to them and Eddy, drinking beer and eating breakfast. There was however more.
