Maurice “Maury” Povich is most known for hosting his own talk show. In the 1980s, he rose to prominence as the host of the information show “A Current Affair.” “The Maury Povich Show,” which he co-produced, brought him even more recognition, and it was eventually renamed “Maury.” Povich has also appeared in a number of scripted shows, including “How I Met Your Mother” and “Madea’s Big Happy Family.” In 2007, he extended his business by founding the weekly print publication Flathead Beacon, and in 2017, he became a part-owner of Chatter, a restaurant and bar. Rachel Nichols began her career at the Sun-Sentinel after graduating from the Medill School of Journalism. She progressed to writing for the Washington Post before joining ESPN as a “SportsCenter” regular. Nichols also served as a sideline reporter on multiple ESPN Monday Night Football broadcasts. She returned to ESPN as a co-host of the sports talk show “The Jump” after hosting “Unguarded with Rachel Nichols” on CNN. Nichols left ESPN in January 2022, with one year remaining on her $1.5 million per year deal. She has received widespread recognition for her contributions to the field, and Sports Illustrated named her one of the “most prominent female sports journalists” in 2014.
