39. Remove Old Wallpaper
If older rooms were not terrible enough, covering them with awful wallpaper can make things worse. Saying that just about any room could be enhanced with new wallpaper or maybe a fresh layer of paint is as simple as it may sound, but taking down wallpaper is not easy. To mix equal parts of water that is hot and vinegar is able to make things easier. Simply try soaking a paint roller in the combination for a couple of minutes before rolling it over the wallpaper a few times. Next, the wallpaper has to come off fairly quickly.
