At 5’10” and 270 pounds, Albert King was able to bend notes farther and more powerfully than almost any other blues guitarist. His writings were believed to have influenced many generations as well. Jimi Hendrix was impressed when his hero opened for him at the Fillmore in 1967. “I taught [Hendrix] a lesson about the blues,” King said. “I could have played his songs easily, but he couldn’t play mine. Albert King was once nicknamed ‘The Velvet Bulldozer’ because of that smooth vocals and his size.

Neil Young is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter and incredible musician who began his music career in the 1960s. He then moved to Los Angeles and joined Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills, Richie Furay and many others. In addition to being twice inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, he has received multiple Grammy and Juno awards. Young’s guitar work, deep lyrics and signature voice have been highly regarded by many around the world.
