Annette Bening
Like Helen Mirren, Annette Bening is yet another actress who launched her career by joining the theater. In fact, she went to university to study theater and later worked with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Company. During her time there, she starred in Pygmalion and Macbeth among other works. Meanwhile, she made her film debut in Manhunt for Claude Dallas, and this bit role propelled her to stardom. When the 90’s came in, she received nominations for the Oscars and the Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in American Beauty and other movies. She continues to act to this day.
Jami Gertz
