They’re Going Their Separate Ways
Alaska had not entirely captured the hearts of their kids the way Elly and Peter did. They had decided that it would be better for them to travel to a more remote and southern place on the American continent. If Elly went to either Boston or Dallas, her daughters would be ecstatic. Elly, on the other hand, scoffed at the idea of settling down in a significant urban center. She had ancestors who had lived in Alaska, but it seemed no one else knew it.
First Love
On Elly’s first day of school, Peter, whose family had just moved to Alaska, introduced themselves. The only fun activities at the time for two kids of the same age were playing together in their respective yards or riding their bicycles next to one another. Simply simply, there weren’t many individuals living in their community. Elly had a dream that she would wed Peter one day and that as they grew older, they would have a lovely life together. It absolutely did not go as I had expected it to.
