Beachfront Bargain Hunt
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it appears that this show is just as phony as all of the other real estate shows on the market. Have you noticed how particular the couples are about the properties they choose? It turns out that there is a legitimate reason for this. Even before the filming begins, they had already purchased a house. Because of this, they are required to walk around the fictitious residences and come up with preposterous justifications to shoot them down. All of these things are done in order to adhere to the show’s format and structure. A realtor who appeared on the show even stated that it was mandatory for the clients to be either first-time homeowners or to be under contract to purchase a home.

“Exaggerated” is the best word to characterize this History Channel show, if we have to choose one. Some of the show’s stars have stated that they just put on their harsh personas for the benefit of the cameras. And on top of that, they actually have more money than they claim to have. On top of that, many of the dangerous events depicted on the show are nothing more than staged recreations of real-life occurrences.
