Troy was able to hear the rest of what happened just after the sergeant decided to leave. The rookie officer was not amused by what he was informed of. The cop’s face was both red and furious, and he reprimanded the cab driver for immediately dropping his cruiser. The tow-driver looked down at him and shook his head.

The cab driver eventually answered. He stated, “My drop rate is one-hundred dollars.” “Are you crazy?! Sarg, you’re not going to let him do this, yeah?!” The police officer said to the tow truck driver’s sergeant. The sergeant only stared at him, saying, “It’s legal to move any vehicles that block emergency services.” The rookie cop did not allow this to prevent him from actually attempting to get his vehicle back.
