Anything Goes
In one more post, she said that it was fine if there were some people who did not feel happy about her dress code.
They only needed to talk to her about it. There were other things they could do if they did not want to join the synchronized dance, after all. They could stick around to help the staff “clean up after dinner” or even “contribute to the honeymoon”. She told them, “Anything counts”.
Not Having It
When she posted this, a couple of the guests could no longer stand it. One of them even went as far as to make this long comment to express their thoughts on the issue. They then declined the invitation to the wedding after hearing about this silly dress code.
We have to say that it sure sounded tempting to do the same thing. If we were in their shoes, we would have done it too. The dress code and expenses sounded outrageous enough. We cannot fathom why the bride would want her guests to help with cleaning up. It is not something you ask wedding guests to do.
