It was 1986, and we were all enthralled by an Australian man taking on the wilds of Australia that we were all too happy not to have in our own backyards. Crocodile Dundee featured Paul Hogan and his Australian charm that had us all wondering where the heck he had come from. But we can’t forget the incredible cast that supported the Dundee on his adventures, so where are they now?

John Meillon

John Meillon played Wally, Dundee’s partner on the screen. Meillon appeared on the set for the second Crocodile Dundee film, but that would be his last time on the set. Meillon passed away shortly thereafter from complications due to liver cirrhosis. Movie fans fondly remember Meillon and the special attitude and personality he brought to the films.

After finishing working on Crocodile Dundee, Blum did a plethora of acting gigs and recently finished his 70th role in the major TV show, The Blacklist.

We can all agree that John Snyder played nothing more than a glorified pimp in Crocodile Dundee. Aside from this major role in the 1986 film, he also appeared in many television series and films from 1974 to 2004. If that wasn’t impressive enough for you, he also played Aaron Conor in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Anne Francine

Anne Francine was an American actress and cabaret singer, most celebrated for her role as the villain Flora Simpson Reilly in the 1978 film inspired by the song, Harper Valley PTA. She was a bit older when she played Fran in Crocodile Dundee, and that, unfortunately, became her final role. She passed away in 1999.

Anne Carlisle

Which Crocodile Dundee actress is also an acting teacher, performance artist, published author, and model? None other than Anne Carlisle, who played a progressive role for the 1986 Crocodile Dundee film. She was the transvestite named Gwendoline. We wish there were more multi-talented actresses like Carlisle willing to try other fields!

Irving Metzman

Irving Metzman has many secrets and among the top of them start with his very own name! He was born Douglas Kahn but must have thought that changing his name served him better in Hollywood. One of Metzman’s best-known roles was in The Purple Rose of Cairo, but that’s not all. He also played in Crocodile Dundee and War Games.

Paul Hogan

Paul Hogan had the prowess, style, skills, and mind of a top Hollywood actor, so then why did he never ascend to the top ranks of fame? The Crocodile Dundee trilogy set him up for success, but a series of personal scandals slumped his reputation substantially among fans. For starters, the man used an offshore bank account to commit tax evasion! There were some other private factors that set the Australian start for an early retirement. His final recognizable appearance was as a guest on the television show, Open Slather.

Linda Kozlowski

The beautiful and talented Linda Kozlowski is someone who is hard to forget. When she matched on the screen with co-star Paul Hogan all eyes were on them – their chemistry was unmatched! The screen was evidence for their chemistry off the set, too. They got married in 1990 and spent a loving twenty years together… but all was not perfect in House Hogan! They stayed together until 2013 when Linda filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences.” That didn’t stop Linda from playing her final role in  Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
