A Big Coincidence
Matthew and Michael continued to talk some more and learned a lot of things about one other. The older man explained that he was actually posted to a different town not that far from there. How come Michael could not believe this? The reason for this is that it was his hometown! In fact, his mom still lives there up to now. He could not believe it when he learned that Matthew used to work there before.

Matthew asked the younger man about his age, but it did not feel appropriate to ask an older person the same question. This state trooper began to come up with a theory after he learned that they lived in the same place at the same time. Michael knew about a couple of cops from home, but there was no way to tell if his hunch was right. If it was on the right track, Matthew might have saved his life before.
