Well, we can hardly blame them for taking some time to process what this meant for both of them. They were surprised that this second encounter even happened. What makes it even more mind-blowing is the fact that they were outside of the city where the incident took place. It was great that Matthew got to meet the baby he brought into this world! Isn’t it great that he even followed in his footsteps and became a police officer as well?

In most cases, a traffic stop will not end with both parties happy. However, this was not the case here. Officer Michael Patterson did not give Matthew Bailly a ticket, which meant they both went on their own ways happy and shocked. It was a great way to improve their day! The two men both called their wives after this happened. They wanted to share the incredible encounter that just happened.
