Meghan has stated that during her unfortunate miscarriage, she “dropped to the floor” in grief while changing Archine’s diaper. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she wrote in the New York Times. “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” she continued, addressing the taboo around miscarriage.
