At the top part, she merely greeted the guests and then followed it up with this announcement: “Who’s ready for Hawaii 2019?” After that, she continued by saying that even though it was still one and a half years away, she needed to discuss something important with them. As you might have guessed, it had something to do with the dress code.

The bride then went on to say that she was addressing this matter a long time in advance to make sure that the guests could have enough time to “find and pick out something nice.” She also explained that the specific dress code was put in place because she wanted everyone to make an “incredible visual effect” during the “synchronized dance” part of the reception.

In her post, she split the dress code into five individual categories. They were as follows: women weighing 100 to 160 pounds, men weighing 100 to 200 pounds, women weighing more than 160 pounds, men weighing more than 200 pounds, and children. It was already unusual enough for her to instruct all the guests on what to wear. However, it was also insulting that she did this based on their weight! We doubt that anyone expected to hear such a thing when they RSVPed.
