Chevrolet Dubl-Duti
The Dubl-Duti was designed by Chevy, but the bodies for the delivery vehicles were built by outside contractors using its flat face cowl chassis. You’re looking at a vehicle that was probably used as a milk truck. Trent, the car collector, sold it to the hosts of Turnin’ Rust. It’s possible that this is the only one still alive. According to one website, about a hundred of these babies were created. The YouTube channel’s hosts claim that they intend to restore it to its former glory. Are you as excited about the result as we are?
Ford Model A Mail Truck
The Ford Model A Mail Truck was first used by the US Postal Service in 1928. It was still in use in the 1930s and 1940s. The Firm used both the Model AA and Model A passenger chassis versions. Postal carriers at the time used 4,300 Model A Fords. They could choose from a taxi, an ambulance, or a funeral bus as their body. A fleet of cab variants has been used and personalized by the Postal Service. Take a look at this beautifully restored 1931 Ford Model A. The National Postal Museum now houses it.
