Today’s Coolest Electric Cars

2019 Hyundai Kona Electric

For now, sales of the Kona Electric will be restricted to California and other states that share their emissions regulations, but hopefully, soon they will be available across all 50 states. You can get a whopping 258 miles on one charge with this car, but with that amazing number comes the price tag: this car will cost you about $37,500. If you’re someone who drives a lot and is sick of spending all of your money on gas, this car may be the one for you.

2019 Nissan Leaf e+

With 226 miles per charge, the Nissan Leaf e+ is surely a car that will be beneficial to you. For $47,896, you have to be sure you love this car before you purchase it, but we think you will fall head over heels once you get behind the wheel of one. The Leaf is larger than your average sedan, but still small enough to not be considered a crossover or SUV yet. It’s the perfect size for a couple or a small family, and it comes with so many perks. After all, who wouldn’t want a shiny new car that’s saving the world by not using harmful gas inside? Sounds like a great purchase if you ask us!

2020 Kia Niro EV

Though this car will initially only be available in 12 states across America, it may be one worth waiting for. The Niro EV begins at $39,495, but for a mid-sized SUV, that’s not so much more than you’d be paying for a non-electric car. One of its best features is that it can run for about 239 miles on a single charge, and some researchers are saying the number may be even higher than that. Kia is a very reputable brand and is a top-seller to begin with, so we can only imagine that their electric cars are just as well-built as all of their other cars have been. We can’t wait to hear some great reviews about this one!
