Her Reminder
Keely has a scar from the surgery. It is 30 centimeters long and extends from the sternum to the pelvis. Soon after the procedure, it became easy for her to walk around. She was excited to begin living her new life and all the changes that it brought. One disadvantage of the surgery is that Keely’s right ovary had to be removed, but the doctors told her that this wouldn’t impact her having children.
