Cleopatra
Cleopatra was the Egyptian ruler for nearly thirty years! She was 18 when she ascended the throne together with her 10-year-old brother Ptolemy XIII. In 49 B.C., his advisers ran her out of Egypt, but she managed to get reinstated with Ptolemy XIV, her other brother, thanks to Julius Caesar. She also gave birth to Ptolemy Caesar, who many suspected is the son of the Roman Emperor. Ptolemy XIV died not long after Julius Caesar was assassinated, so Cleopatra and her son ruled Egypt together.
