Saint Anthony
Born in Portugal back in 1195, Saint Anthony passed away when he was only 36 years old. Despite this, he had a lot of influence back in the day. He had an impressive ability to heal, which led to his canonization by the Catholic Church. He was the second-fastest saint to be canonized! They declared him the saint of lost things only one year after his death.
What Saint Anthony Really Looked Like
They said that bells rang on their own and kids cried in the streets when he died. The body was exhumed three decades after his passing, although the researchers had only his jawbone and tongue as a guide. The team behind the recreation of his face was made up of the Anthropology Museum researchers from the University of St. Anthony of Padua and a University of Sao Paolo 3-D designer.
