The county authorities were unable to locate Miles’ mother in any meaningful way. Somewhere in the maze-like jungle, her trail had gone cold. They dispatched multiple search parties with aircraft and K9 units. They also welcomed volunteers from the general public to help. However, their search would be fruitless.
