Panoz Abruzzi ‘Spirit of Le Mans’

Here we have a prime example of what not to do to a sports car’s design. This abomination came with a huge £330,000 price tag. Yes, you read that number right. The Panoz Abruzzi ‘Spirit of Le Mans’ was only planned to produce 81 units. However, we can thank our lucky stars that this car never saw the light of day, as it died a natural death right at the prototype stage.

Citroën Ami

While you may think of fine wine, perfume, and fashion when you think of France, this car is proof that they aren’t perfect. In 1961, Citroën decided to make the Ami. We really wish they hadn’t. The oversized headlamps and odd body shape they dubbed the notchback did nothing to help the poor design. We can’t help but sigh sadly whenever we look at it.
