Marcos Mantis
Specializing in sports cars, Marcos was a British manufacturer that produced relatively ugly cars. However, they seem to have outdone themselves with the Mantis. Thankfully, just one Mantis was actually released in 1968, and it did not last long before it was retired. In 2008 it made one last appearance at the Festival of Speed.

Troll Sportcoupé
This is Troll Plastik & Bilindustri’s attempt to build a car with a fiberglass body. The Norweigan company used the material because it was lightweight and had various benefits like resistance to rust. While the engineering might have been fine, the design was a complete and total failure. This model was only produced for a couple of years, in 1956-1958. Their next model wasn’t as bad as this one, but it was also not exactly a looker.
