1997 GM EV-1
While it’s great that GM had the incentive to produce an electric car back in 1997, the EV-1 was styled terribly, had a low range of about 80 miles and was only available by leasing. Nowadays, it’s very unlikely that you’ll see one of these on the streets since GM gathered almost all of them in 2002.
1992 Ford Probe
We all know there are plenty of cars with unfortunate names, but the Ford Probe is definitely on the top ten worst ones. The shoe-shaped car looks as if it was meant to look sleek and speedy when in reality it looks more like a UFO that never made it off the ground. This model was a joint creation by Ford and Mazda, and while you would think they would come up with something great, the Probe had a weak V6 and FWD mechanism which didn’t help its sales. It ended up being taken off the market after just eight years.
