Crater Of Diamonds State Park: Murfreesboro, Arkansas

Visitors to Crater of Diamonds State Park have the opportunity to examine gems in an up-close and personal setting. Since its opening in 1906, when it became the only natural diamond course in the United States that was accessible to the general public, it has been a popular destination for tourists. A lot of people think it would be fun to hunt for diamonds by digging in the ground. Because, let’s face it, diamonds really are a girl’s best friend. Yet, the park is nothing more than a huge open field with people milling about in it. So, the likelihood of discovering diamonds is low yet it is not completely impossible. You can try your hand at gambling, but if you want to have fun in Arkansas, I recommend going to one of the state’s many other tourist attractions instead.

Buffalo Bill’s Grave And Museum: Lookout Mountain, Colorado

One of the most well-known cowboys of all time was Buffalo Bill. So, it should come as no surprise that there is a place of interest for tourists named after him. In 1917, the life of the world-famous hunter and showman came to an end. His funeral was considered to be the most important event in the history of Colorado, and in 1921, the Buffalo Bill Cemetery and Museum opened their doors to the public. Since it first opened, the location hasn’t undergone much development. It is home to both Buffalo Bill’s final resting place and a museum that chronicles his life. The history of the Old West can be better understood with the help of the images and objects displayed at the museum. Both the burial and the museum are not even close to being as interesting and exciting as Buffalo Bill was while he was alive. Yeah, it may sound like a respectable attraction, but neither one is.
