Haters Gonna Hate
An informal way to express consolation, voice encouragement, or dismiss criticisms was to hate haters. The phrase would imply that instead of the one being judged, the negative feedback would say more about the hater. Our age is not supposed to define who we are, and our personality is supposed to do that. The man in this photo surely had a lot on his plate, and it was not on his to-do list to listen to his haters.

Nirvana Who?
The band went through a series of names during the initial months, such as Fecal Matter, Skid Row, and Ted Ed Fred. Finally, they settled on Nirvana and Cobain explained, “I wanted a name that was kind of beautiful or nice and pretty instead of a mean, raunchy punk name like the Angry Samoans.” It would be hard to understand what the t-shirt was about for those who didn’t know about Nirvana. They might not be able to get it, even their fans, because we would not be able to recognize them.
