Right now, the SUV market is the most competitive in the US, and for good reason. Slowly but surely, SUVs are replacing minivans and wagons. SUVs are the best option when it comes to practicality, as they offer plenty of space as well as great safety options. Companies are battling hard for their part on the market, no matter if for crossovers, subcompact, compact, mid-sized, or full-sized SUVs. As of now, there are over 100 SUV types for sale in the US and we are here to explore some of the less known options that slip under the radar despite their great qualities. Read on to find out the best SUVs in The States that people aren’t buying.
Lincoln Navigator
A domestic SUV that doesn’t sell too well is the Lincoln Navigator. The premium SUV only sold a little less than 2,500 examples, but seeing as the new Navigator is now on the market, a growth in sales is to be expected. All the while, the Navigator isn’t what you would call a good seller. All the same, this model has great reviews both by the press and consumers, most of all for its safety features. Only time will tell how the next Navigator will perform on the market, but for now, you can find a great deal on the older model.
Jeep Compass
Seeing as Jeep is one of the main brands that shaped the modern SUV, they sure know how to make one. The Compass received mostly positive reviews from the consumers and press. All the same, its sales figures are quite low considering the fact that Jeep is an American brand with a strong fan base in the US. Its sales figures saw a 58% decrease, and it sold just over 8,500 copies in Q1 2017. Since the new Compass is going to arrive soon to replace both its older model and the Patriot, the figures can be more understandable. With that said, keep an eye out for deals that Jeep might offer.
