When Jacob’s name was eventually called, the two got to their feet and walked over to the podium. The judge made the claim that the sticker on his car was inaccurate and even a form of ridicule of the president in the opening statement. He told Jacob that his neighbors had previously complained about the sticker. Jacob became enraged as the judge continued to speak. He prepared to speak by tightening his hold on the podium table’s edges.
