2 Chainz – Basketball
2 Chainz rose to notoriety as one half of the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle. “Duffle Bag Boy,” which featured Lil Wayne, was their biggest hit as a duo. Others may be unaware that 2 Chainz succeeded in basketball outside of the music industry when he went solo in 2012. He played basketball at North Clayton High School and then received a basketball scholarship to Alabama State University. From 1995 to 1997, he was a part of the team, appearing in 24 of 29 games.

Ed O’Neill – Football
While attending Ursuline High School and working, Ed O’Neill began playing football. He was then awarded a football scholarship at Ohio University, where he admitted to Inside the Actors Studio that he spent more time partying and playing sports than studying. He continued his career as a defensive lineman at Youngstown State University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers after his time at Youngstown, but he did not advance. He tried a variety of jobs before landing onscreen at the moment. His performances on “Married… with Children” and “Modern Family” won him Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
