A social hub
The nearby zoo served as a social nexus for many families. Everyone enjoyed going there, although most simply came for the seals. Every day around twelve, they would put on a small dinner show for the guests, demonstrating their jumping abilities and waving to the children in the front row. John looked forward to it practically every day.
