Serra came from the Sabanci family who hailed from Turkey. They own the Sabanci Holding which is Turkey’s biggest industrial and financial conglomerate. Serra is reported to have a net worth of $1.1 billion as one of the company’s shareholders and board member. She got her degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth. She then went on to earn another degree in Istanbul’s Bilgi University.
