VERA LYNN, 101 YEARS OLD
Vera Lynn is also known as “The Forces’ Sweetheart” because she started singing during World War II. She ended up singing to entertain and comfort the soldiers back then. Apart from music, she also dipped her toes into acting. For her 100th birthday, she came out with an album called ‘Vera Lynn 100’. How impressive is it that it still managed to reach the 3rd spot on the charts?
