Van Dyke has enjoyed an immensely successful acting career, having won prestigious awards such as Emmys, a Tony, and a Grammy award to name a few. Aside from acting, he is also a talented singer, comedian, and dancer. He is still active in Hollywood nowadays, having been in more recent films like Night At The Museum and its sequel.

An American writer, actor, lyricist, James Lipton is the executive producer, writer, and host of the TV series Inside the Actors Studio. Wanting to use all his gained knowledge from the world of acting, he created a three-year program in Pace University for aspiring actors to learn from the best in the business. Lipton initially studied to become a lawyer and acted on the side to finance his studies. With time, however, he stuck with acting and became a producer and a writer among other things.
