Phonetic Alphabet
Many military personnel prefer to spell things out with the use of the phonetic alphabet. When they say “Juliet”, they mean the letter “j”. In the same vein, they mean “d” when they say “Delta”. Try to keep up when they are talking like this or else you will be completely lost!
